Hello there!

Thank you for stopping by Pollinating Grace. My name is Melisa Turner and I’m so glad you’ve found my blog. It would be even better if we could chat in person over a cup of coffee! But for now, I want you to know that this is a place where we can be real about our struggles living for Jesus in this imperfect world. I’m here to encourage you to look to God’s word for inspiration for daily life.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. ~ Proverbs 27:17 NIV

“In so much as anyone pushes you nearer to God, she is your truest friend.”  ~ Anonymous

…Speaking the truth with love, we will grow up in every way into Christ…  ~ Ephesians 4:15 NCV

Why Pollinating Grace?

What is in a name?

Melisa…yes with just one “s” is Greek and means Honey Bee.

Anne…means “Full of Grace”.

It is my truest desire to live up to my name and Pollinate Grace; so, that in time that grace will grow up and produce lasting fruit, eternal fruit. (John 15:16 NCV)

It is my hope that together, Dear Readers we will use our “Pollinating Grace” conversations —to inspire, sharpen one another and to push one another closer to the one who bears the greatest name…Jesus! I want to encourage you to engage in the conversation. Please leave your comments and ideas. Let’s discuss…

Who is Melisa Turner away from this blog page?

I am a wife, mom, speaker, author, women’s ministry leader, and an ordained minister.

My husband Dwayne Turner and I have been married for 27 years. We have 2 fabulously talented and good looking kids!

We serve as lead pastors of an Assembly of God church in North Central Washington.

I am the founder of Blossom Ministries “Preparing Women to Bear Fruit”.

I am also honored to serve as a member of the Northwest Ministry Network’s Women’s Department Leadership Team.

Guest Speaking at a variety of women’s events such as Retreats, Teas, and special services is one of my favorite ways to encourage. I would be delighted to come and speak to you regarding a theme you have already determined or I have some key themes that are dear to my heart.
